 This appeared in the earlier versions, too, but I couldn't find open
 tickets on this specific issue.
 MSN (WLM) contacts just don't go offline when the buddies actually log
 out, there is an error when trying to send them a message. Still, they
 show up as online contacts with the green dot and the color avatar.

 To circumvent this problem: toggle the MSN account off, then back on, and
 the fake online accounts disappear.

 Now I tried, and I had three of these fake contacts (that disappeared
 after logging in and out with the MSN account), and all of them had the
 small mobile phone sign next to the names. Not sure if that matters. Also
 not sure whether this is 'the' mobile buddies status problem, but it
 doesn't seem logic exactly because of this: they do go offline after
 toggling. Sorry for the new ticket if this actually is the same issue.
