 I still have this problem. As a matter of fact, everyone in the company
 started having it this week after they did something to the sametime
 server last week. I am on XP SP2, using pidgin 2.5.2 without plugins. If
 anyone needs another rpt dump, I'll generate it, but the problem is
 exactly the same and I can't apply the linux patch mentioned here.

 Other tickets that have been opened regarding this (one was already
 mentioned as closed, linking back to this one, the other remains open as
 of now) are: 7563 and 7580
