 Can you get a similar debug log from you successfully sending a file with
 gajim?

 The debug output above has things working correctly until pidgin attempts
 to send the streamhosts to your buddy, at which point either your server
 or your buddy returns an item-not-found error. (Search for the id
 purple358971a2 to see the iq set/error pair.)
