 DNS on my network? What's that? I don't understand why it would be
 anything to do with my network, when the other protocols connect well and
 on the first try. Maybe Yahoo changed the number of their server again or
 something? I hope you understand my frustration; I had hoped this would be
 fixed by a future release of Pidgin but I'm not seeing it change. I didn't
 have this issue with the releases previous to the 2.4's and I've seen it
 gradually -worsen- from release to release.

 I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just hoping its not a network issue,
 because I would have no clue how to fix that and from my observations it
 doesn't seem to be that problem at all.
