 For the record, this branch hasn't been merged yet (unless someone else
 did it, which I hope they didn't). It needs probably another night's worth
 of work from me, which may or may not happen this week. Basically, I just
 need to finish up porting the GUI into Pidgin w/o the request API changes
 and make it work for XMPP as well.
