Comment:

 Can someone explain to me what exactly this patch is supposed to be
 doing/fixing? It looks to me like it is designed to cause pidgin to not
 consider unavailable buddies as being 'offline' if that is the case that
 is not at all something we want to be doing.

 It also appears to consider having received an 'unavailable' presence
 status without a message as implying that the last set status message
 should continue to be used (which is decidedly incorrect).
