 deryni, that's correct.  On the off-topic, I noticed something right-off-
 the-bat... I have been idling for 2 hrs+ something when I have been signed
 in for 40 minutes.  That wasn't the issue I was referring to though.

 Switch to "from last sent message" and you should notice that it will
 never idle as long as the convo windows remains open/minimized.  Close it
 and it should start idling.

 With the usefulness of tabs in convo, I generally don't close my convo
 window, only minimized.
