Comment:

 I did the following
 [pratap at localhost ~]$ gdb pidgin
 (gdb) handle SIGPIPE nostop
    (gdb) run

 After these commands the Pidgin window is opened and it is working
 properly.
 But when I tried to opend pidgin from Appllication --> Internet -->
 Internet Messanger  It is not working. How can I fix this.
