 No i haven't Installed from source. That is default one. When I run the
 "which pidgin" command it gives the following output  /usr/bin/pidgin. I
 navigate to /usr/bin directory and run the pidgin (./pidgin). This command
 opens another window, just like the problem one. From this I think I have
 two pidgins in my system. The two windows are different. One is working
 and another one is not working. I tried to install the source when I had
 this problem. But the package was not installed.
