 This happens (I've been noticing this all the time) because Gmail uses a
 priority ( 24 ) for gmail web interface chat sessions, whereas Pidgin uses
 two priorities: 1 for available, 0 for away and the XMPP rfcs require that
 resources be ordered by priority.

 This is (I guess) a duplicate of #1345?
