 If I use ctrl+up to resend a previous message that has a smiley in it,
 then hit Enter to send it again, any text I type after that appears larger
 to the recipient, but not to me. Hitting ctrl+r to reset the formatting
 fixes it for the recipient, but has no perceptible effect locally.

 In the case I tested, the recipient was using AIM Version 6.8.15.1.
