New description:

 Hi

 Since a few weeks I don't see people go offline anymore. Pidgin is showing
 them as online while they are not. When I relog Pidgin the people that
 where showing online are offline. I dont have any problems when people log
 in only that I just can't see them go offline.

 I have to relog Pidgin every time to get an updated buddie list.

  * I've reinstalled Pidgin with the GTK+ - same issue
  * I've downgraded to 2.5.1 - same issue
  * I've reinstalled my computer twice(for a different issue, which is not
 related to this issue) - same issue under Vista 32 bit and 64 bit.
  * I only have .mac users in my list
  * Used to work without any problems since 2 weeks
