Comment:

 Gabriel, I realize this patch has been sitting for nearly a year now, but
 is there any chance you could update it to apply to recent
 im.pidgin.pidgin?  4 out of 24 hunks in the most recent patch here fail.
 I'd like to see this go in, as it is reducing duplication.
