Comment:

 I am using a Wallpaper Master Pro from jamesgart.com, but closing it down
 makes no difference. Memory grows even with buddy window closed (not only
 minimized). Today memory was low when hibernating and 915Mbytes
 immediately after startup (buddy window closed).

 Just tried to open the preferences window (from right-clicking pidgin
 icon), it took 250Mbytes! Tried the same once more (after minimizing
 memory) and it took 10Mbyte!

 Just now I restarted the wallpaper changer and Pidgin started to eat
 memory and use 99% CPU. Had to kill it. It does not happen again if I
 retry it.
