 Another idea is to encapsulate the parameters into a structure, like
 PurpleMessage, which contains the gc, who, msg, and other information, and
 also the possible special alias. So we can set the special alias in
 protocol plugin and display it in UI.

 but this will involve *A LOT* of interface changes that are probably not
 acceptable at all.

 For now, we don't have any better ideas and the patch works well, why not
 apply it at first and fix it later?
