New description:
Sorry to bother you, I looked at the pidgin.rpt myself and saw that it
looked like a problem with the GTK-files in the virtual store.
After uninstalling Pidgin and GTK and deleting the GTK-files in the
virtual-store folder, I reinstalled them both and they work flawlessly
again.
Once again sorry that I did not try that earlier.
greetings
Hi there,
I am running Pidgin on Vista 64bit. After upgrading to 2.5.2., Pidgin does
not run anymore.
When started, Pidgin works fine but does not display any "icon" files,
e.g. like the icon in the task bar or user pictures. When trying to access
_any_ menu (right click in task bar, menu in pidgin window), Pidgin
crashes.
The problem is user-specific, if I run Pidgin as Admin or any other user,
it works perfectly fine.
Have already tried uninstalling both Pidgin and GTK, clearing all Pidgin-
folders (programm files and appdata\roaming\purple).
Pidgin.rpt is attached.
Please ask if you need more information, thanks for help.
greetings
