 It would be great to have a menu item (or some form of a quick list group
 or buttons) for "Recent Chats" or "Most popular chats" or "Most active
 chats."

 There are generally a set of buddies that we chat with more often than the
 others and it would be a nice addition to be able to just select from that
 list to start chats.

 This could be similar to the Google Talk user list in Gmail shows the
 online status of people you communicate with most at the top.

 PS: Thanks for Pidgin, it's really amazing and a great program to use!
