 You can ignore the extra content at end of document errors in the pidgin
 log, they shouldn't affect anything.

 Is the server you are testing this with a publicly facing server? Would it
 be possible for me to test with? Could you test with some other client
 that has an xml console (just so we could get another sample to compare)?
