 I use Pidgin for business purposes.  4 active accounts logged in (AIM,
 MSN, YAHOO, GMAIL) and I have noticed that the AIM tabs disappear
 automatically after awhile while I am either talking or idling on my
 screen.  The tabs will just automatically disappear, and it is very hard
 to work because if I receive a new message and don't get to it in time I
 may never know about that one message (which has happened before while I
 was in an online meeting, luckily I am tracking my logs so I simply viewed
 my logs) - soon about to give up with this program.  If it helps, each
 time it exits out of the tab, and I do view the log - it creates a new log
 for the same date.

 I hope I can be of some sort of help here and I hope on the next download
 there is a fix intact.
