 I have just noticed this problem in the Linux version of Pidgin..  Similar
 to ticket #58 which was fixed in Windows long ago.  I had not tried Pidgin
 in Linux on Sametime in that time, but I am hoping to migrate to a Linux-
 based workstation at work and I am finding that similar to that bug, I
 only see contacts when they log in after I have logged in..  Anyone on the
 system already is not shown as being online.
