Let's say you have a keyword called "hi" to use with some custom smiley,
then most people don't want it to match parts of words like "chicken" or
"history". You can work around this by using "(hi)" or something as a
keyword. But it would be more convenient to be able to use "hi" and let it
match whole words only.
I think this would be more intuitive for inexperienced users so it should
be the default. For people who wants to replace part of words you could
add a dialog with advanced settings (regexps would be great).
As I understand it MSNP is broken is this regard, but for XMPP the above
makes more sense than the current implementation.
