 Since version 2.5.1 I cannot connect to MSN. There is no error, no
 windows, no popups, nothing. It just keeps trying to connect.
 Looking at the debug window you can see that it receives the list of the
 MSN buddies and that it is truncated like if it was too long for the
 buffer used to store it locally.
 And then the following line is printed:

 soap: read: Illegal byte sequence
