#6928: when installing new version of pidgin the existing custom emotes are
deleted

 It's only a small issue. Whenever I install pidgin on Windows I have to
 copy the Original Emoticons again into the folder
 pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin\emotes. Any existing custom emoticons are deleted.
