 Pidgin appears unable to handle a QQ account blocked by QQ for 'suspicious
 use' (see QQ report below).

 Pidgin merely fails on login. QQ software reports the reason and offers a
 resolution.

 I reported I suddenly could not log on - 2 months ago- still true now with
 latest Pidgin.

 Using latest English QQ (2008 beta), this appears to identify the problem
 - Now, QQ tells me this:

 ''Sorry, you can't sign in with the ID right now. Security Center had
 enabled the protection measures for sign-in restrictions, please dick
 'Active' to remove the

 restrictions.

 @ Why sign-in restriction is necessary:

 Security Center will stop the use of ID temporarily when use exceptions
 were found. You can sign in after activation. This measure can prevent ID
 thief conducting illegal activities with your ID. Learn More

 - then takes me to this page in Chinese!!!!

 is my original report- I was travelling without my PC for 2 months so
 could not follow this up.
