 the design of the shared login windows could probably include skipping an
 entry (by leaving it blank for example). It would be like any regular
 form, not all forms have only one entry.

 If your opening pidgin while many others apps are open, you don't want 6+
 more windows open at different simply for login. At this moment, you're
 searching for each windows.

 This might make some people enable the "remember password" option which is
 bad idea.

 (I understand this is only my opinion so i won't hope too much.)
