 Hi,

[Having already started this then reviewed the below I am not even sure if
I should submit this as it turns out that my $PATH was pointing at
/usr/local/bin/pidgin, which was pidgin-2.5.0vv, instead of
/usr/bin/pidgin, which was pidgin-2.4.3-1.fc9.i386. Using the latter
Fedora version does not exhibit this bug, and may simply be indicative of
the need to merge some stuff into the 2.5.0vv train. Oh well, never mind]

I've recently started getting this error, I think it might have been after
I re-organised a bunch of IM Buddies in Pidgin.

Anyway, looking at the debug log, the only reference to '205' which does
not look inconsequential, or a data-encoding artifact is in this section
 of the debug output:

 (20:53:11) msn: C: NS 000: ADL 9 4107
 (20:53:12) msn: C: NS 000: PRP 10 MFN
 Kyrian%20%2d%20There%20is%20honour%20in%20
 the%20effort
 (20:53:12) msn: S: NS 000: BLP 8 AL
 (20:53:12) msn: S: NS 000: 205 9 65
 (20:53:12) msn: ADL error
 (20:53:12) msn: S: NS 000: <ml><d n="microsoft.com"><c n="messenger" t="1"
 l="4" /></d></ml>PRP 10 MFN
 Kyrian%20%2d%20There%20is%20honour%20in%20the%20effort
 (20:53:12) msn: Unhandled command '<ml><d'
 (20:53:12) msn: S: NS 000: ADL 9 OK

I can provide more detail if needed, but I really don't know what else to
say about it, as the error popup of:

 "Unable to add user

 Unknown error (205)"

Which only has the option to 'Close' doesn't give me much to go on.

 K.
