 I opened it up and managed to get my MSN and GoogleTalk usernames and
 passwords in, it would load up, I would start to send an IM, then it would
 crash.  2 times I just got the Runtime C++ error, the rest were all the
 infamous Windows "Pidgin has encountered a problem and needs to close"
 error.

 EDIT: I did replace the liboscar.dll with a confirmed working one as well
 as the fixed driver from your site, but that did not fix the issue.
