 This crash appears to be caused by a third party plugin called
 pidginsnarl. Please report this crash with their developers, I'm guessing
 at their
 [http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=208109&atid=1004377
 SourceForge] site. You can try to start pidgin offline by adding the -n
 flag to it's commandline, then disabling the offending plugin to see if
 pidgin runs ok without it.

 It also appears you may be using an older version of that plugin. You can
 try updating it to see if the problem still occurs.
