 Whenever a peer sets a custom icon it is shown whenever the corresponding
 sequence appears on the conversation window - that is, for both the peer
 and the local user. It would make sense that the custom icons set by the
 peer are only displayed for the peer chat entries.

 This behaviour has been seen on Pidgin 2.5.1 using the MSN protocol; i'm
 unaware if it also happens on other protocols, or if they even support
 custom icons.
