Comment:

 Selective filtering of the buddy list is not something we support at the
 moment. It is also incredibly unlikely that we will support filtering by
 anything other than account, protocol, or status (if we ever move to
 supporting filtering at all). So unless your SMS buddies are on a specific
 account or protocol or are in the Mobile status, it is unlikely that you
 will be able to filter them out.

 If the request here is for filtering of the buddy list view then this is
 at least in part a duplicate of #6807 (and possibly solved by the patch in
 #5876).
