 As stated, I would like to allow resources to be differentiating details
 but the internal implications of this are not yet assessed. I welcome
 anyone who wants to attempt to figure out exactly what will be involved in
 this change and exactly what issues may arise, at this point I don't even
 know if this will be a small or a large undertaking (though I lean heavily
 towards believing it to be large).

 Connect server is not going to become an important detail. The only
 workaround for this would be to find the code that changed which now
 detects duplicates and disable it, but there were real issues with having
 duplicates so disabling that code is not without risk.
