 I have a sony vaio - vgn-nr430e series laptop. I have a wierd problem.

 When I am playing a music if I insert my headphones, then I can hear sound
 from headphones as well as from system speakers.

 But doing same in vista behaves properly. So it is confirmed there is no
 problem with hardware. Its just a software problem Any hints pls let me
 know ASAP.

 I have installed Ubuntu 8.04
