 Hello, I am running Pidgin 2.5.1 on Windows XP SP2 and I am still getting
 this same memory usage issue. Pidgin will start somewhere around 20 MB and
 slowly rise up to 148 MB before crashing. The minimize trick does work
 with the same effects as listed above, however. I have the Buddy State
 Notification, Release Notification and Text Replacement plugins enabled.
