 I'm using 2.5.1 on ubuntu, and I noticed that when my router loses the
 internet connection, pidgin does not notice it and it thinks that the
 connection is still up.
 A different thing happens if I lose the connection to my router, in this
 case pidgin will disconnect.
 I'm using MSN, I have not tested other protocols
