New description:
In the View User Log window (btw, its title name could be changed to that;
it's currently "Pidgin"), the Name field is a combo box with autocomplete.
When the user types a prefix and selects one of the buddies in the
resulting list, the "Account" drop-down changes to the corresponding
account.
Problem 1: buddies that are not on any contact list still show up in the
autocomplete, but when the user selects such a buddy, the Account doesn't
change at all.
Problem 2: buddies that are on the contact list of multiple accounts show
up in the autocomplete list with only their buddy name, making it
impossible to distinguish between conversations carried from different
account. Adding the account (perhaps in he format "buddy - account") to
the autocomplete list items would help.
HTH,
Dan Dascalescu
