 Hi,

 When I first installed on to my new laptop, preferences were working and I
 was able to set some basic perferences. Now when I click on preferences,
 Pidgin shuts down, closes all windows/tabs and no error message is
 displayed. As long as I do not click Preferences, it works fine. I would
 like to further define my preferences (things like turning on logging,
 etc.) but can not because of this problem. I am using Sametime as the
 primary source of Buddy's and compatibility for other users I IM with.

 I am a user, not a developer, and would appreciate assistance.
