 I recently installed Ubuntu 8.04 with pidgin. Pidgin worked great at
 first, but now it fails to even start up, only getting so far as the
 "Starting Pidgin messenger" bar on the bottom of the screen, then
 dissapears. Unfortunately, i am new to UNIX OS's, and have no idea how to
 make a bug report as of yet (or install 2.5.1).
