 datallah: I'm not sure where to go with this issue at this point,
 unfortunately. I don't know whether this is something we are doing wrong,
 something GTK+ is doing wrong, something odd about that font, etc.
 Hopefully this will be useful information for you (or someone) to indicate
 something to look at.
