 Datalla,
 Thanks for the dummy check - i had copied the pidgin.exe into the startup
 folder instead of creating a shortcut. When I created the shortcut instead
 it worked properly. Sorry for the erroneous bug report, I created a
 shortcut to pidgin.exe the application works flawlessly. Thanks!
