 for all of my accounts (AIM and MSN) Pidgin allows me to enable things
 such as my profile, status, buddy icon, and away messages.
 However, when I quit the program and the next day (for example) I turn on
 my computer again and start Pidgin,
 My buddy information has reverted back to the old version, along with my
 buddy icon (which changes to what it was before I edited it) and my away
 messages are not saved.

 For example, I had a crayon icon on 9.23.08 and I changed it to a picture
 through Edit profile, Icon, SAVE. Then I edited my AIM Profile.
 But when I logged in again on 9.24.08, the crayon icon was back along with
 my old AIM profile.

 Is this a bug? or some other defect...?
