Comment:

 I tested with padium client which didn't pick the status message up when
 status set on away. Most of my friends are using the normal gmail web
 client and this one doesn't pick it up either (it only works when on
 available). By the way, I also just tested with amsn and that one didn't
 pick up ''any'' of my status messages (being available or away).
