 i'm developing a Pidgin protocol plugin on my own and noticed that
 purple_account_option_list_new() does not seem to work on Windows and
 Wine, each time i try to open the setting page of the account Pidgin
 crashes with an "Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000005".
 on Linux, however, it is working fine.
