 This doesn't come up all that frequently, and we discussed both of those
 options and liked them less than the dedicated Google Talk item. I'd be ok
 with making the Google Talk entry say "Google Talk (XMPP)" but that
 wouldn't really help anything.

 Personally I think the best thing we could do would be to yank the Google
 Talk entry, and give people a better (more explanatory) way to select the
 protocol.
