Comment:

 You need to read the message at the bottom of the debug log, which directs
 you to wiki:GetABacktrace, you also need to read the message at the end of
 the gdb output which directs you to install the debuginfo package for
 pidgin.

 You can also see if disabling sounds in pidgin stops the crashing.
