 I'm not so familiar with isolating bugs in codes so bear with me. This
 problem began a few days ago. I did a bug update using the Update Applet
 of FC9 (This was updated to version pidgin-2.5.5-1.fc9.i386 according to
 the /var/log/messages). When I restarted my laptop, it failed to load
 pidgin.

 I tried to use gdb and went as far as below:
