 Problem is still there. I went to Trillian years ago with AIM & ICQ and
 migrated to 2.5.5 yesterday. Almost any ICQ Buddys show the UIN instead of
 the alias. In 'Details', it shows the real alias / nickname for any of
 them.

 I think this is related to authorization of adding contacts. The list of
 outstanding authorizations is long, but it shouldn't. Maybe this problem
 is created by Trillian mishandling ICQ authorizations?
