 What I tried to do was adding a MSN user. Another account of the same
 person was already on my list, and I wanted to merge both to one
 metacontact. Unfortunately, the MSN address that I had was wrong. So two
 dialogs appeared:
 1. Adding buddy failed: This user does not exist
 2. You have two buddies with the same name. Do you want to merge them?

 I clicked OK for the first one and Yes for the second and Pidgin crashed,
 probably because it's not possible to merge two buddies if one of them
 doesn't exist.

 I think that Pidgin should
 1) not crash when merging several buddies to a metacontact fails
 2) not suggest merging two buddies when one of them couldn't be created
