Comment:

 So that would be "yes, my theme has really large/wide buttons". With
 slightly more reasonably sized buttons you would not have that problem.
 Furthermore, you can always use the Move item in the system menu (which
 will let you use the mouse once you hit a single arrow key once, this is
 an age old Windows oddity I have never understood) not to mention the fact
 that 'alt-space M' will also select that menu item.

 As I said before, pidgin can't reasonably (that I'm aware of) request that
 we not have a single button displayed (I'm not even sure this is possible
 in Windows without disabling both minimize and maximize and possibly
 disabling all resizability entirely).
