 I have noticed that Pidgin seems to not release handles properly when a
 file transfer is canceled. In my case, it was canceled remotely and that
 is how I was able to repeat the bug. I confirmed this was the case by
 using ProcessExplorer and seeing that pidgin maintained a handle on our
 file even after it had been canceled, and cleared.
