 Since something (libgstladspa.so apparently) now sets the global
 structural error handler [I don't think I've mentioned how braindead that
 is for a *LIBRARY* to do...], libpurple does need to set an xmlnode serror
 handler or we'll still crash when logging on due to an xmlnode_to_str on
 our user info, which contains a vcard.
